12y. 0. I am willing to bet it wont work. Nvidias GPUs will operate at 16X and 8X but not in a 4X slot. Although a ATI GPU will operate at those speeds. Thats why on some of the newer mobos that offer SLI or crossfireX you can only SLI two nvidia GPU even though the mobo has three slots, because one of the slots in a 4X slot.
